In order to provide its facilities to plant clubs and societies at minimal cost, the SGC rents out the facilities at times that it is not being used by plant clubs and societies. The funds it receives from such event rentals are used to defray the cost of maintaining the facility and make it possible for plant clubs and societies to hold their meetings at the SGC.
